Also included is some information about the participants in this campaign by the Oregon Mounted Volunteers.

The original and official Muster Rolls of the First Regiment, Oregon Mounted Volunteers and related documents are located at the Adjutant General’s office (Oregon State Archives?) in Salem, Oregon.

The “Regimental Order Book, First Regiment of the Oregon Mounted Volunteers, Thomas R. Cornelius, Colonel Commanding Regiment, William H. Farrar, and Adjutant of Regiment” is in the Northwest Collection, Public Library, Spokane, Washington.

They were also reprinted in the book “The Early Indian Wars of Oregon” by Francis Victor Fuller, 1894. However it appears that there are some miss-spellings among names with in the rolls themselves.
